Why we need to talk about

Domestic Abuse

1 in 3 women, 1 in 7 men and 1 in 5 children experience domestic abuse.

One third of employees have experienced domestic abuse and half of those experience it daily or 2 to 3 times per week.  75% of incidences spill over into the workplace.

It has been described as an 'epidemic', a 'national threat', a 'public health crisis'.

The coaching and training I provide aim to raise awareness, develop employer skills to recognise and respond appropriately, and to empower those experiencing it to take steps towards a future of safety, peace and autonomy.

Workplace Training (1 day)

The importance of recognising and responding to the signs of domestic abuse has never been more critical. While domestic abuse has long been an issue shrouded in silence and misunderstanding, our mission is to break these barriers and empower every individual, be it in a workplace or a social setting, to not only identify the signs but also to empathise and act supportively. Whether it is a colleague at work, a client you engage with, a friend you meet for coffee, or a family member you share your life with – no one should feel isolated or helpless in the face of domestic abuse.

Our specially curated 'Demystifying Domestic Abuse Training' is an immersive face-to-face experience tailored for a compact group of 25 participants. Ideally, those participating should include individuals who are in positions that can influence the broader workforce or community, such as domestic abuse and health & well-being champions, HR leaders, or people managers.

Life Coaching to freedom

The journey from experiencing domestic abuse to realising it; from trying to 'fix' it to wanting to leave; from starting a plan to being free often takes years.

Many levels of types of support are necessary including counselling, legal advice and housing.

Coaching is a future focused intervention so it perfectly complements the other support services.
