This week's tip is to remember that confidence doesn’t come first before courage; it’s the other way around.
Courage must come first – then confidence follows when you have overcome a challenge you weren’t sure you could manage.
So if there is something you as a leader have to push forward on, or a tough decision to make, push through the fear about it and confidence will follow.
Then come back to harbour; switch off from work, step back into your own life, make a note to discuss this with your coach at your next session (whether that’s me or another coach – it doesn’t matter), but bring the ship that is your mind and wellbeing back in to your harbour, wherever that is, to rest and refuel and restock.
Until next week, take care,
Lisa.
